Within her church Maxine is a member of the “Budget and Personnel committees.” Maxine is the President of her local “Baptist Women on Missions” group. Maxine explained that her choice to spend her precious time with these groups is a natural progression from her involvement in her Christian community. What are your eating habits? What foods or drinks do you think have contributed to your longevity?Maxine is proud of her diet and feels that “her good diet” is a contributing factor towards her continued “good health.” She explained that her diet is “balanced and low in fat.” I asked her for her diet secrets and she relayed the following menu to me: eight glasses’ of water per day, three servings of vegetables every day, two servings of fruit every day and fish one time per week.
