y the forerunner and trailblazer for the man Ras Tafari Makonnen (i.e. Haile Selassie I) and the Rastafari culture. The Genesis of this grand epoch was in 1924, when Marcus Garvey had prophesized, “…look to the east, and when you see a black king crowned in Ethiopia…take him for your God and king.” Just as the worlds greatest orator prophesized, six year later on November 2, 1930, Rastafari Makonnen was crowned King of Kings, Lord of lords, The Conquering Lion of The Tribe of Judah, Elect of Himself, and The Light of this World, Protectorateof all Human’s Faith and Ruler of the Universe -225th king of the Solomonic Dynasty. At this glorious occasion 72 nations sent representatives to Addis Abba to witness the crowning of King David in the 20th century. However before such golden celebration could commence, Ras Tafari ordered King George VI to return the over 3000-year-old scepter that was stolen by the European oppressors years before. The Kings request was met in that King George sent his son Edward VIII the Duke of Gloucester with the golden scepter the symbol of divine rulership and authority over the earth sky and sea. Once have I sworn by my holiness: I will not lie unto David, his seed shall endure forever and his throne as the sun before me, and it shall be established forever as the moon and as a faithful witness in Zion (Psalm 89 vs. 34-37). The 1930 crowning was a well-publicized event, foreign press from all over attended including National Geographic, Time Magazine even Television coverage. The Emperor also had a special crowning miles away from the spotlight of the Jubilee Palace. It there that the Rasses (lords) chiefs warriors and peasants paid their respect to the divine celestial structure of the invincible one, who had come to advance Ethiopia towards the 20th century and beyond also to be the pioneer in the international struggle for human rights and justice globally....
