It is still unclear as to whether or not harm reduction advocates are simply drug legalization advocates in disguise and are using the sociology of harm reduction as a “Trojan horse” for a previously their unaccepted movement. They have not proven if harm reduction undermines a drug uses motivation to quit, making their addiction seem less problematic and in some ways accepted as unchanging.
