Later on in the chapter when they start on their hunt to kill Ralph, Jack is “ stark naked save for paint and a belt.” He has lost any order that he had and know has the beast within him. Ralph thought at this point every one needed to be clean so that order is restored. “ Supposing we go, looking like we used to, washed and hair brushed after all we aren’t savages really.” He associates being clean and properly dressed with being orderly.There were many more symbols in “The lord of the flies”. That range from the fire to the lord of the flies it self. With all the symbolism it brings out the theme in a more undercover way. In reality the novel is tracing the corrupted human behavior to society. It teaches that society should be shape from an individual and not a political system. America society is run by a political system, which is nothing but an “Icon” of what the white man think it should be. ...
