Guglielmo Marconi was born in Italy in 1874. Marconi is known as the Father of Wireless. As a child Marconi had an interest in electrical discoveries. Marconi thought that there had to be away to transmit information without using wire connections. In 1894 Marconi began to search for the answer. He started by repeating some of Hertz’s experiments but adding some improvements. Marconi finished his wireless communication system and offered it to the Italian government but they refused it. In London he patented his system and developed a backing for it. In 1897he formed a company called the Wireless Telegraph Company. He then patented it again, which led to widespread use of his system. Marconi formed an experiment in 1901, which he received a radio wave from England to Newfound land.
