Segregation is that which is forced upon inferiors by superiors. But separation is that which is done voluntarily, by two equals – for the good of both! (Malcolm X 251)”Malcolm X and all followers of Elijah Muhammad believed that Christianity, the philosophy Harriet Beecher Stowe thought would help the black cause, was one of the biggest things holding it down. “This is white man’s Christian religion used to brain-wash us black people!
