The Art of Applying Make-up Some people say applying make-up is just another thing us women do so we can spend money on “something”. I say applying make-up is an art. There are so many ways to “color your canvas”. Someone can be dramatic and daring, sexy and sultry or just that everyday plain old neutral. You can achieve so many different looks using make-up. It’s really unbelievably indefinite how much make-up can change a person. What other ways can you think of to make a housewife into a daringly bodacious babe? A simple makeover can create phenomenal changes in someone’s attitude towards themselves. There is no reason for you to spend a lot of money on makeovers. You can easily find incredibly great products at your local CVS or Walmart and no, you do not have to be a Rocket Scientist to figure all this out! Let us start with some basic supplies: Brush Set- should include cheek, lip, eyebrow, powder and eyeshadow brushes  Moisturizer- I recommend Loreal with Vitamin E Foundation- Ultima II (of course chose a color to compliment your complexion) Face Powder- use a loose, translucent powder Cheek Color (Blush)- Revlon makes several acceptable kinds Eye Shadow- go with a trio (this means three) Loreal has great colors Mascara- Loreal Luscious Lashes is the best, in black/brown Lipstick-Revlon Color Stay in a neutral tone Towel- to hold your hair out of your faceThe first step in applying make-up should always consist of starting with a freshly washed foundation, (this means your face). It is really important to start from scratch when applying your “face”. Before you put your “face” on, you’ll need to wash with a mild soap, (Cetaphil is a great medicated soap) and warm water.
