ho enjoy "the yucky love stuff." It isn't good for those who delight in books that are more adventurous because it moves slowly, but at a pace, that still keeps the reader interested. Sparks writes very different novels and if you were to read one, the next could be completely different, and this shows how wide of a talent he has. It makes one want to read every book by him because they are so diverse. This book is touching in the way is shows love through other's eyes. Sparks takes the unpredictable and inexplicable love and puts it into words that seem to create a song. "I ne'er was struck before that hour with love so sudden and so sweet, Her face it bloomed like a sweet flower and stole my heart away complete" (156). ...
