comes with a catchphrase. In an attempt to highlight the interface and ease-of-use improvements, Microsoft has chosen "It Just Works" for Windows ME. That's a noble sentiment, but the changes are so minor, you may overlook them. The most noticeable changes made to the interface of Windows ME are to the My Computer, the Start Menu, and the Control Panel. One of the nice features is that in the Start Menu it only shows the programs that you most often use, so that saves time searching for the programs in a huge list of names. But you can also click the down arrows on the bottom to reveal a complete list of programs. Windows ME has also tucked Dial Up Networking and the Printer Box into the Control Panel. Which makes it less clustered and also makes more sense. So basically what I learned in this article was that there isn't a whole lot of difference between Windows 98 and Windows ME. I actually was pretty happy that I reviewed this article because I was thinking about upgrading my computer to Windows ME, but after reading this article and weighing the positives against the negatives I most likely will not invest my money in purchasing Windows ME. This article was pretty well written; it gave a well-rounded outlook on the Window ME operating system yet it didn't get too in depth that the average person couldn't understand.
