He also served as Secretary of State for Home Affairs. Churchill was a British statesman whose goal was to pursue to interests of liberty. In W.W.I, Churchill was active on many fronts. His roll in W.W.I was controversial; it almost destroyed his career. Winston Churchill developed the Royal Navy. It became the first powerful weapon against Germany.
