a Man

a Man To survive as a happy human being you have to determine yourself as a person in a society. Of course there are different cultures and all of them are have differerences in appreciation of a person . But be sure, that all the cultures accept and appreciate a person that can be considered a Man. Being a Man has an important meaning and it gives a man an ability to influence and an advantage to be respected. Even the cultures where being a Man has a little importance they will always accept and respect you as a strong person. But it is not easy to be accepted as a Man . It requires a lot of things combination of which makes a Man. But believe me living as a Man is a very pleasant and prideful thing. OK, then what it means to be a Man? I want you to know that being a real Man is very difficult and includes in it the best human characteristics. When I say the best human characteristics you have to understand what are considered the best human characteristics from my point of view. Remember to achieve the being a Man you have to achieve those characteristics combination of which creates a whole notion of Man. Those characteristics are the followings: 1. Be smart and wise. As already being smart is also not so easy. Being smart gives you advantage to be respected. But smartness and wisdom is not all for a full and continuos respect. There is second characteristic. 2. Be respectful. If you want to be respected. Remember respect always brings respect. Never show disrespect. Because every person needs respect, and showing respect to someone means recognizing a person as a person. Being recognized always gives a person a great feeling of pleasure.. That feeling of pleasure given by you sooner can be manipulated by you. 3. Always show understanding and attention toward people. As I have seen during my life every human being considers himself thinking the best way and having the best ideas in his head. And if you show that you understand him and to some extend agree with him , that person begins to recognize you as partner. I mean by showing understanding you can be considered a friend and avoid undesired conflicts. 4. Always be fair and try to follow the rules of the game. 5. Don’t be too egoistic. Don’t pursue your interests in a wild way. Give opportunity for other people to benefit also. Because all of the people are egoistic toward the benefits and your running for your benefits in an abnormal and wild way most probably will cause a conflict. Being extremely egoist means disrespect and toward other peoples interests which causes disrespect toward you by them. 6. Don’t be hypocrite. Have a single face—single dogma. Follow the proverb: A man must have one single word. It is not my word it is phrase that our culture has created. 7. Keep your promises. In order to avoid not keeping your promise , always try to give promises that you will be able to keep. 8. Always make things that you are sure to carry their responsibilities. 9. Try not to depend on other people as much as possible. Because there is another proverb saying: One that relies on a neighbor for food is gonna starve. 10. Have a feeling of the debt and thankfulness. And always try to pay all your debts. And when I say “debt” I don’t mean moral dept as well as material. 11. Do not loose feeling of justice and do not forget about morality These are all that I can advise you about the way of living. I can’t advise you more, because maybe I’m too young myself and not so much practiced in life . Just understand the sense of Man with all of its characteristics and try to preserve this notion in your mind as a constitution and a filter of your actions. Have a pleasure of living as a real Man.
