gh, for at first Noke's did his best and had Prentice to help him. Indeed he learned a lot by watching the skillfull boy, more though then he'd ever admit. But in due course, the time for the twenty-four feast drew near. Now therefore Nokes had to thing about making the great cake. Secretly he was worried about it, for with seven years practice he could turned out passable cakes and pastries for ordinary occasions, but he knew his cake was being eagerly awaited, and would have to satisfied severe critics. For not only a cake for the children, but a smaller cake of the same ingretiends would have to be baked for those who would help at the feast. This great cake was also expected to have a novel twist, something surprising not merely a repetition of the previous one. He figured it should be rich and sweet, and decided to entirely cover the cake in sugar-icing (in which the Prentice had a clever hand). The cook thought this would make his cake sweet and fairy like, Two keen notions he knew young children enjoyed. But time had passed. And he, the cook had forgotten what went in a great cake, but with the help of the apprentice had baked a divine cake covered with sugar-icing, filled with little stars, and topped with a fairy dressed in white. Now among these stars in the cake their was a very special silver star.The silver star was said to be special, which the Prentice believed to be magical. Upon the evening of the feast each child was told about the stars in the cake and if they were to find one it would bring them good luck. Through the course of the feast many stars were found by the children, and a ten year old boy found the silver star. Three years later on his thirteen's birthday the star placed itself on the center of his forehead. Time passed and the boy became aman, married, and had children, the star in his forehead was now merely noticed. The boy now a man started spending time alone, and taking daily walks ...
