church
church When I was a child I was forced every Sunday to get up put on my best suite and go to Sunday school. This went on for years; I would get up every Sunday and fight my mom because I never wanted to go to Sunday school. Once I turned thirteen I was given a chose I could either go to church or stay home and I choose to stay home. After a few years of not going to church my uncle a youth minister for a high school group asked me to go on a trip. I went on the house boating trip with my uncle and his group when I was a sophomore in high school and that is where I felt I found God. It was the third night of the trip and I was sitting on top of the boat one night. The moon was full and shining on the lake, it was one of the most beautiful sights I have every seen. And that is when I felt I truly found God and truly believed that there was a God. Ever since then I went to church every Sunday on my own. It wasn't until recently I stopped going and since I have stopped I have felt distant from God. I stopped going because I moved to go to school and I really haven't had time to look for a church I could go to. And all of the churches I have gone to just haven't seemed right to me I just felt that I didn't fit in. Even though I don't go to church I still think about God and thank him for everything he has given me. But I wish I could find a church to attend it just makes me feel closer to God when I go to church. Bibliography:
