We can see how Jesus has become the dominant figure in today’s western culture. It tells of how Christianity differed with the teaching of the ancient Romans, and how God wanted us to live our lives. People stopped being afraid of death and their values were changing, becoming much different than those of the Romans. The importance of the individual is also seen and this is why this religion grew so rapidly. Missionaries spread the word and we see the problems when church and state are joined.
