The draft sequence was completed in June, 2000, and a final copy is expected to be done sometime in the year 2003. Today, the final draft is about 25% complete.The Human Genome Project, when completed, will effect our lives tremendously. It will change the way we see ourselves, and it will really allow us to ‘choose’ ourselves.
