The author is definitely a genius in his knowledge of the climates and time periods in which his books take place. One of the best things of this book is that the problem with the pilot being murdered is that you have to wait to the end of the book to find out who killed the pilot and what their motive was in the act of violence which plagued the flight.This reader would strongly recommend this book or any of the other books written by Alistair MacLean because he is extremely great writer and his books will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time. This will make the book seem incredible, which it is. Everything MacLean writes is so easy to understand because he makes everything so clear in his words. This is the second book written by this well-known author and he plans to read many of the other books written by this author. Any reader who reads just one of his books will want to read another.
