Also, Machiavelli shows that for a prince to be successful, he must not think about good faith. These examples of Machiavelli’s beliefs emphasize the fact that a prince should rather be feared than hated and it takes the manipulation of the people to make the prince excel. In Machiavelli’s argument his dominant mode of presentation is narrative because he efficiently tells it like it is. He truthfully shares his thoughts and inspirations about what it takes to be a successful prince. He portrays his ideas in a clear cut, to the point manner and is confident with his approach. I feel Machiavelli’s ideas about being a successful prince were correct. However, some of his ideas are harsh they are significantly true.
