Several years ago in a small county in Killeen, Texas I was given a gift so special I would not forget the day I received it. It was a horrible, rainy day that not even a ray of light could pass through those black clouds that were hovering overhead. Rain dropped with an annoying pattern on the top of the roof of my house. Many things went through my head like what would I do about my sick lizard lying in a cage up stairs. I felt his presents every time I entered my room. When I finished my book that very day I felt there was something wrong upstairs in my room. I darted to my room and looked all around my room for anything different. My eyes spotted the stiff reptile lying on a rock. I knew right then and there he was gone.I slowly walked downstairs to the living room to spread the news to my family about the stiff bearded dragon lying in my room. I knew that the time was now and that I was ready for this day when he would be dead. While still in shock and dread my mom stealthily walked up behind me and strung a small round medal around my neck. She later explained the knight slaying the large dragon. It meant Courage and Bravery against all problems I was to encounter. Courage is not needed to bury a small dragon, but just the thought made me happy to wear it. Bravery and Courage can be a very powerful combination but should not be used for everything, and Saint Gorge and the dragon helped me understand that. ...
