ntly because she is a girl. A lot of people talk about him behind his back when he lets her wear pants, but Atticus does not want Scout to feel any less of a person. Scout is just trying to fit in with her brother and the rest of the gang. Atticus never lets his children talk bad about others. He always points out the positive values of a person and will tell them to forget the negatives. Also, he teaches his children to never discriminate but to be strong and to solve problems with their head, not with their fist. Scout has a slight problem with this moral. Atticus Finch is a strong man that always follows his morals and values. He stands alone by standing up for what he thinks is right, although his family’s life is hanging on a thread. From reading this book I have learned a lot of life’s long values. I think everyone needs to have an Atticus Finch in their town to influence them to always be honest with God and to do what is right regardless of the situation. If you live your life as a follower you will teach your children the same, but if you live like Atticus and teach your children to be an individual, then they will be a successful leader in life. So live your life like Atticus and you will honestly die a very happy person. Regardless of what people look like they are still humans and God expects us treat them the same as everyone else. What Atticus did was against everyone else’s beliefs but in his heart he knew what God expected from him even though he stood alone. ...
