o make a difference is to let your voice be heard. In conclusion, music censorship is a hard topic to define. It is hard to determine what side of the argument is right. While it is obvious that, at times, there is too much “profanity” used in popular music today, it is also obvious that the censorship of music is a violation of our first amendment rights. Many say that the things these artists say in their albums is a crime that only censorship can take care of. But, until the day our first amendment is changed, taking away our freedom of speech is a far larger crime. It is also easy for one to see censorship as a scapegoat for the problems of America’s youth today. It is a very difficult topic to find a clear answer on so, for now, music censorship will have to be a topic that is for the courts to decide and America can wage on from there....
