Shakur and the founder of Death Row were driving after a Mike Tyson fight in Las Vegas. Their car was shot at twelve times and five of those bullets hit Tupac. Tupac Made it through two surgeries and 6 days then he was pronounced dead at 4:03p.m. September 13th, 1996. He was held at the University Medical Center of respiratory failure and cardio pulmonary arrest. The driver, Suge Knight was only grazed by shrapnel and was released from the hospital soon after.
