The politics of all of the guys on the police force with Pendergast and how they all make fun of him because it was his last day. The politics was also the between Pendergast and his wife due to the fact that he did everything in his life just for her. And that she didn’t really know what he wanted so finally he decided that he had enough and he decided not to quit the force. Another point that was brought up often was the fact that all he wanted was to have his voice heard. That is why he only trashed the little store and not rob the place. Or why he was pissed that he couldn’t get breakfast that is why he shot the gun to draw attention not to harm anyone. He was just trying to get his point across in the movie.I liked the movie for the many parts that were relevent to everyday life. I think the class as a whole picked up on most of the main points of the movie. The “common” man attribute I think is the most important relevancy in the movie. Most of the other points feed off of this one. Overall the class liked the movie as a whole. ...
