Sanctity of Life

f one life directly endangers the life of another, such as in the case of war or self-defense, death may be necessary to survive. I am not saying that war is acceptable; all means necessary must be employed to avoid it, but when it happens, lives are taken to save those of others. However, in cases such as voluntary euthanasia and suicide, the decision whether to continue to live on or not does not belong to humans. Only God can make a decision to take a life. As humans, we will never fully understand death, and what happens afterwards. The best we can do is to hypothesize and make guesses, but the ultimate decision to whether someone continues to live or die belongs to one that fully understands both worlds – God....
