The exam format is going to be again 1/3 MC fill in the blank, 1/3 short answer, 1/3 longer essay. Each section will be worth 50 points for a total of 150 points. With 2 and ¾ hours there will be a lot more time for writing. To study for this exam you need to do the following things. Study past review sheets. Focus on aspects that deal with astronomy, geology, and evolution. Chemistry, physics, and biological concepts you will need to study if they relate to the previous three topics. Keep in mind the theme of this class, origins of the universe, our sun, Earth, and life on Earth. Look over past exams. A lot of final exam questions will be based on pass exam questions. Final exam questions will not be identical to past exam questions. Part of the final will be topics not covered on the past three exams (but on the review sheet for each exam).
