my work

my work I work at a truck stop and there are many different types of individuals that go through the stop each day. The majority of these people are truck drivers. Some of these people are very nice and clean looking but then there are others that are filthy and somewhat unkind. For example, there was a man that came in the other day to get some work done on his truck and he looked like a grungy Piltdown man. We let him know that there was a few hours wait to get his truck completed but the driver wanted his truck to be done right then. So he ended up complaining to the manager but there was nothing the technicians could do about the wait because the other drivers were in line first so we had to help, the drivers that were there first. At first our manager plunked us right down and wanted to know what happened, so we told the manager what happened. The manager ended up not being too inferior at us because he looked at the situation and he would have done the same thing in that situation. The manager told us that he had an ersatz personality because he wanted us to look substandard in front of other customers. There are the other drivers that are very neat and seem like pleasant people. The especially nice drivers are the ones that give us, the technicians, tips for doing a good job on their truck. I also like all of my co-workers especially the restaurateur in the restaurant. I don’t really mind working at a truck stop because I meet remarkably interesting people and that makes work a fun experience. Bibliography:
