ore of an equal world.Keeping the community in order requires official people to make rational decisions for the good of the people and to get the community involved with some decisions. The community's government will make the decisions, but the people have the right to question them if they are unjust. The government of the community will consist of twelve people. There will be ten representatives which all of the propositions go through and two head representatives that make the final decisions. The public votes on the ten representatives who fit the qualifications, concentrating on who will best serve the people. The two head representatives must also fit the qualifications and are voted on by the ten representatives. The main purpose of the government, as noted in Thomas Jefferson's "The Declaration of Independence", is to protect the rights of the people. He believes that everyone has the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Jefferson also believed that the people have the right to alter or abolish anything that they feel is a violation of their deserved rights. The government is not established to just be higher beings, but to keep the community in harmony, make sure the people's rights are protected, and to see that justice is served to the best of their ability. Free will is the main purpose of living in this community. People in the community are free to make their own choices of religion, ideas, etc. as long as others are not harmed while doing so. An example of free will of religion is Lao-Tzu's "The Way of the Universe." He states that "human wisdom and happiness are only attainable if one harmonizes one's life with the movement of the Tao." The religion of Taoism seeks harmony through the Tao; it is a harmless and fulfilling religion for those who follow it. Free will allows the community to make their own choices, but the community can choose not to follow things that might hurt it. Thing...
