Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 in Kentucky. He was very tall in stature he was 6 feet 4 inches tall. He was raised by his father Thomas and his stepmother. Abe Lincoln attended school when he could. His stepmother was very important in this area because she encourage him to get knowledge. Mr Lincoln had opened a general store which failed and them he became postmaster. Mr. Lincoln studies law and became a licensed attorney. Abraham Lincoln loved Ann Rutledge but she died, he also met and proposed to Mary Owens wh turned down his proposal. Abe Lincoln eventually met and married Mary Todd in 1840 . Abe Lincoln served in politics for many years. Abe Lincoln became the 16th President of the United States in 1861 and served in office until 1865. He April 1865 Abe Lincoln was assassinated at the Fords Theater in Washing, D.C. was he was shot in the head. He was the first President to be assassinated....
