Once they are cast out from their perfecthaven into reality ther is a strong anger felt by Adam, To him God had no right to possess thishigher status until Adam develops the theory that Eden is now just an unproven dream along withGod where neither can be demonstrated therefore they cannot exist. Adam has a strongresentment to the fact that ‘the seasons changed and the game was fleet-footed’.
