john dryden Micheal Drayton “ ode. To the Virginian Voyage” This poem is about exploring the New World. The heroes that sail out with the help of gods that control their safety. For the heroes to gain treasures such as gold and pearls and bring them home. In line 53, Drayton says to let cannons roar when they get sight of the shore.
