roots and fruit

roots and fruit I come from Tenochtitlan. My roots planted by Aztecs. My pride to be Mexican and know who I am. Spaniards and English tried to destroy us but we stood strong during the war. We sometimes get discrinated by out color yet those same people pay to be our shade. We are a big family sticking up for eachother, making our bond strong. We trust on our God when others want to see us fall. I fight for my future along with the rest for equality and peace for the time we have left. May our god listen to our prayers and soon put misery and hate to rest to let the healing of our souls to begin taking place. May we the future see the world with new eyes. Teaching our children the true color of life. It's not white, black, red or brown. It's clear for it's what's on the inside of a human that really counts. Learning that being different is not something to hide but something to have pride. It's what makes us unique, it's being you. Bibliography:
