canadian govt
canadian govt Canadians have come to expect that the government will do more for them and that is a bad thing. If the government does more for the people, the people will become more dependent on the government. People will begin to become lazier and think that the government will do everything and then we come from a mixed economy to a centrally planned economy and that will mean that there will be no freedom. With the social services we have now like heath care and unemployment insurance people abuse it and it costs the government more and more money. For example people pay for health care through taxes which they pay but some people use the health care way to much and it end up costing the government which ends up costing the taxpayers who respect the system more. If the government bring out more services the people will then pay for the service trough taxes and then start abusing that service. This will end up being a continuos cycle. If people want more services then the government might provide that service but then it will make the taxes increase and the people with less money and complaining about taxes. This also might start strikes, riots, and other violent and non-violent way to get more money in their pocket because the taxes are too high and people can’t afford it. If the government brings in more goods and services for the people it will end up being abused, people will become more dependant and it will make the economy turn from a mixed economy to a centrally planned economy, and taxes will increase.
