passes away. The money is there to protect the worker and their families if that person is no longer able to work. The government also takes money out of my pay for Medicare, Medicare is a program that provides medical care for people that can not afford it. There is also a federal income tax that is deducted and used for a various assortment of programs from road paving to bridge building and many other public needs.In closing I find that government effects my life in countless ways everyday. I know that the breakfast that I eat in the morning will be safer and healthier because of government standards on dairy farmers. I can drive to school or work with peace of mind knowing that the drivers of other vehicles have passed driving standards and are insured in case of an accident. I also know that the money deducted from my pay is going to take car of me when I am unable to work, buy me medicine when I am sick, and provide the basic public services that I need such as roads and bridges....
