Each student is unique and has different needs. Mainstreaming is a good thing if the student can keep up with the work, but 9 times out of 10 they cant. This leads to interruptions and hardships within the learning process. Teachers cant teach, students cant learn, principles get stressed and frustrated, and superintendents cant individually establish decent, satisfying budgets because of the parents and government constantly looking over their shoulders, waiting for a legal mistake. Nowhere in The Constitution does it say anything about education, but it does say that any rights not mandated by the federal government are left for states to govern on.
