Divorce
Divorce Till Death Do Us Part Today, many people believe marriage is almost like dating. Some men and women meet, and before they get to know one another they make the choice to be wed. That is why divorce rate is higher than it has been in history. Divorce is now a popular solution to problems that many American couples have. Most of these problems could easily be avoided if both individuals would communicate with each other. Communication is used to help let opinions about certain subjects be known. Counseling is the best way to get feelings about topics that are of concern out in the open. Counseling does not only help marriages; it also helps people to relieve stress from ordinary and not-so-ordinary life. Many people have counselors, or psychologists, to help them resolve issues about themselves and others. Psychology is not used only for speaking about certain problems someone may have. Sometimes talking about dilemmas will not make them disappear; psychologists, like doctors, can prescribe medication that correct chemical imbalances which might be altering specific emotions. Many times, medication is the only solution to problems that would otherwise become untreated. Another solution to certain difficulties is time. Time has a way of resolving many issues that are of great deal at one time; later these “big deals,” will not seem so gigantic after all. If couples would wait their disagreements out and listen to each other, many marriages would be life-long relationships, not short-lived flings. Bibliography: none
