While most personalities that I have come across are very different from my own, I have to say that everyone has their own unique personality. They may seem to act differently but usually they are imitating something that they have seen or someone who affected their lives when they were younger and left an impression on them.Personalities in my opinion change over time. Many things affect ones own personality. Those factors may have come from a bad experience or a good experience. I feel that personalities are a defensive mechanism that we use to adapt to good or bad stimulus. If you have a supervisor that you believe that does not like you, you are going to change your personality to adapt to help you cope with that individual.
