The question posed to the patient is simply whether ornot the benefits outweigh the side effects. As with most other psychological medications andtreatments Prozac is not a cure all. “Far from being a ‘magic bullet’ or overnight cure, Prozac issimply one more useful tool in treating depression.” (Understanding Prozac) One Prozac userstated, “ I do not take it to get happy, but to get out of bed.
