then suggested that the other girls pick a number, the one closest girl to say the number she was thinking of would turn the rope with her. Then all the girls could switch so they all had a turn doing each activity. Other ways in which she has demonstrated her problem solving skills and resolved conflict among peers is with a game she calls, “bubble gum,” it’s a hand game where one child sings a song about bubble gum while tapping the hands of the other child participating in the game and when the song end whomever’s hand it lands on is out, it has the same basic principle as musical chairs, and the last one left is the winner of whatever the children were disputing. With all the progress Megan has made so far, at such a young age for her stage, she should have no problem with completing all the developmental tasks required in her current stage of middle childhood. Although, she is just beginning the stage it is already apparent that she is resolving her psychosocial crisis of industry vs. inferiority toward the positive of industry and obtaining the prime ego adaptive quality of competence through her central process of education. Everyday she is growing and learning through new and different experiences and with time, love, and understanding Megan will move on to her next stage in life, early adolescence.Megan is a very normal, health, educated six year old and if she continues to progress at the rate she is going she will end up to be a wonderful young women and adolescence. Once she has progressed to the stage of adolescence, she will need a lot of support and love from her parents. In this stage a teenager must achieve a sense of identity in occupation, sex roles, politics, and religion. Megan will be face with many hard decisions and confusing alternatives when trying to resolve the psychosocial crisis of group identity vs. alienation.
