life1
life1 These are just a few of my general and unimportant ravings about life in general, read on if you want to see how I see life. Have you notice how we are all wearing masks (metaphorically) just to hide our real characteristics-our goals, ideals, hopes and dreams. The futility of life is really plain to see-small and insignificant evolved monkeys that run around a dense planet that revolves around a smallish star in the pursuit of little green pieces of paper. Have you ever wondered why people get really mad at you when you do one little thing? I mean if you are even just ok at stuff and you undertake in one little misdemeanour the world comes down on you and all your friends and family know almost instantaneously, I mean it just is not fair. You get persecuted and alienated from society-start getting branded as a “Rebel,” and you are even ostracised from you closest friends, when you make a string of a few mistakes you gradually become a loner. It's not about how many friends you have. Not about if you're alone this weekend or not. It's not about who you used to date and who you're dating now. Not about who your family is nor how much money they have. It's not about how ugly/pretty you are. Not about what clothes you wear, the shoes you have on Nor what kind of music you listen to. It's not about what color of hair you have. It's not about what color skin you are. Not about the grades you get, How smart you are. Nor about how smart people think you are. Nor about what standardized tests imply about you. It's not about which clubs you're in. It's not about how well you're good at "your" sports. It's not about how you represent your being on paper and seeing who will accept "the written you." But, life is about who you love and who you hurt. It's about keeping or betraying trust. It's about hurtful or heartening words you say. About making petty gossips out of rumors. It's about the judgements you pass and why. And who the judgements are spread to. It's about jealousy, fear, ignorance, and revenge. Letting it grow, then watching it spread. And have you all realised how bloody unfair this world is. I mean if it really was supposed to be originated from a perfect Garden of Eden, somewhere in Babylon-how the hell has it become where it is now? Even if the temptress of Adam led us away from salvation how have we as a people done such bad things to each other? War, famine, drought, disease, debt, oppression, minority rule and persecution to name just a few. We are all related-have come from one, and yet we show so much hatred because of caste, creed race or religion it astonishes me. How can we call ourselves civilised if we can still kill our fellow beings because of differing beliefs or customs? We should all be ashamed of ourselves-I for one am. At my old school, I was not abhorred or drastically hated by anyone. We had to get along, we boarded and if we couldn’t live with each other there were definitely problems ahead, and I mean major problems. In England life is so *censored*ing artificial it’s unbelievable. People don’t care how good you are at studies, sports or anything; life is just one big popularity contest. I feel really sorry for people that don’t have many friends, they don’t have shoulders to cry on, people to tell their sorrows or ways to open up their hearts to anyone. Life alone is truly the greatest punishment possible, and it truly isn’t right to not have a kind of confidant. Life throws you blows, and you just have to throw them right back, if you can’t toughen up then you’ll be swallowed up. Bullies and Multi-nationals and “ the popular group” are just the same-they chew you up when they need you and spit you out when they finish. The only way to get past is to fight fire with fire. the 'meaning' is different' for different people so the only 'meaning' that I can offer is this: Find Love, be happy, and don't let the bastards get you down.
