een worshiping wrong. They truly believed that their practices were exactly the way the Bible and God said they should be. In fact, they wanted Martin to shut up and forget this foolery of his. Martin believed that he needed to pursue this issue to the limit no matter what the cost to himself, however, he soon found out that he was putting his life on the line. Martin even had to go into hiding in order to save his life. The church did not take kindly to anyone who disagreed' with them or who stirred up trouble' with the local congregations and the church was convinced that they had to stop Martin from causing a altercation in their church. Martin Luther The Great Reformer will enlighten the reader as to all the trials, hardships, and accusations that one has to endure in order to stand up for the truth. This book is full of facts about that particular era and how people thought and worshiped.
