Needless to say a happy future can and has been a psychological refuge for many, having to deal with our modern hectic society. Instead, he admonished Christians to “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.” As believed by bible scholars most of the hundreds predictions, or prophecies, of specific events enclosed in the Bible have already been fulfilled. Yet skeptics will say that prophecies are so general that they could apply to numerous events in history, And for that reason, they should not be taken seriously. When prophecies are symbolic which is the case with a lot of the bibles prophesies, they do indeed have a hypnotic affect on people looking to know the future. However, when specific nations and times are foretold hundreds and sometimes thousands of years before their occurrence, we should seriously consider future Biblical prophecies. Why?
