It is worshipped because of its connection with God. Number five, “There is a hope that through obeying and 3worshipping the higher power, men can have a better life than they have known.” The Lady’s Juggler mentions, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see god.”(pg41). Number six, “A man’s right conduct in all daily matters-especially in his relations with his fellow man-is held to be one of the best methods of pleasing God.” In “Our Lady’s Juggler”, the juggler worshipped Mary, paying respect to her by the means of juggling; something he had done his entire life, and was awarded a spot in heaven for it.Through my findings, I am able to say that religion had a lot to do with the Middle ages. It was taught in schools, and was told through stories and songs to one another. If you prayed and obeyed god you were sent to heaven. If you disobeyed god, and didn’t get along with your fellow man you were sent to Hell. All these factors combined lead to the conclusion that Religion had everything to do with the middle ages. 4...
