They declared that God created each soul directly and immediately after the body was created. This belief that the body was created instantly didn't exactly satisfy them, in fact they thought that the body was created through evolution. As for the Vatican Council in 1870, they believed that God was the only creator and that he had created everything from Ex Nihil. God also governed his creations and through the light of human reason the people knew that God must be the world's creator. In the image of the Trinity all people are equal, just like all the sides of a triangle are equal to sixty degree angles. If one person is involved with something, then all would be involved. To be eco-spiritual one must approach reality, for approaching reality would lead to a relationship with all of creation. If one has a relationship with creation then they will be able to lead a simple lifestyle. In order to maintain this lifestyle one must live in moderation, make good judgements, have right actions toward earth, and have strength and courage to address ecological issues. The human community must take the time to collaborate with God and protect all that he has created. The above elements might apply in my life in the many ways, for example it is important to live in moderation. If I live in moderation than I would be helping the world around us, by maintaining our resources, for we are in ecological crisis. If I make good judgements about the things I do and the things I chose to use then possibly others will do the same, and maybe we can slow this erosion of natural material from our world. Lastly, if I maintain strength and courage toward these ecological problems, then maybe I could help others understand our problem and get their support in this struggle.
