They are both the product of King David, yet from different females. The brohter is eventuallly killed later on in time by his brother after more siblings find out, even though King David does, in fact, find out what happened relatively soon after this incestuous act takes place. There is an entire issue of lack of respect towards women and confusion in David's son's on how they should treat women. The son follows in his father's footsteps in abusing women, just not realizing that raping your own sister is pretty *censored*ed up- but this was back in the dizay when no one really gave a *censored* bout anything. I found this story to be informative and realized that all stories in the bible aren't bout praising God or sacrificing goats- there are some slightly extrordinary stories that can be related too actual events of today...
