that the Roman church wouldlearn two important things. The first is the salvationplan. The other is that the Jewish were not the only onesable to be saved. Gentiles are allowed also. God shows hismercy and caring for his people through this text. Thepeople, the church of Rome, needed to hear the salvationmessage. Some things can be infered by the topics choosento be written about. Mabye the church was having a problemwith Jew/Gentile relationships. Also, following the Law mayhave been stressed instead of heart matters. That was themain content in the passage.The life issues, being salvation, legalism, and Gentileacceptance,in this text were very important. These can beapplied in my life in several ways. One is actually usingthe text directly in my life. This could be not justfollowing Laws set out for me,but find the reasons behindthem. Make these ritualistic acts a heart matter. Theother way I can apply this scripture to my life is put it inmy witnessing. I can use what I learned to help lead othersto christ. I can also be a more effective witness. That isexactly why I need to study and find out the real meaning ofscripture....
