edge we gain understanding that faith exist. Knowing is a key point in faith and knowledge. Knowing is to have knowledge. Knowing something is developed through our five senses: taste, smell, touching, seeing, and hearing. For example if today was a bright, sunny and cool in Northwest Park off of 249, this could be known by someone who lives in the neighborhood and walks outside of their front or back door. With their five senses they can determine that the weather is pleasant out. When a person knows a subject they have information or supporting evidence on it just like the person in, Northwest Park, who walks outside of their home. Knowing is having information, thus having knowledge.Believing is a key concept in faith. To have faith is to believe. When believing in something you accept the word of another. One example of believing is a Christian believing that Jesus rose from the dead and is one with God. An individual cannot prove that Jesus rose from the dead or prove it through scientific reasoning. A person cannot even prove it through having pictures that we can see or a witness that we can talk to in person. All we have of this knowledge is the bible. It is up to the individual to believe and accept this second hand resource that was written by man. Scientists who do not believe in God, the creator, say that the world came about through a “big bang”. Other ideas of evolution have been put on the table, such as people evolving from monkeys over a period of time. People are fascinated by scientific ideas and what can be proved through scientific reasoning. Most people that don’t except the word of God usually agree with the scientist. If they don’t agree with the scientist than usually they don’t believe in God or faith because neither can be proved scientifically. Although this is true, it is up to the individual to take a leap of faith and believe that the bible was not made by...
