concentrated in pesticides. A different link but, still on the same idea is a chemical called Methoprene. Methoprene is used for mosquito control among other things. But what it breaks down to is an acid called Retonoic Acid, which, when tested in a lab can produce all, if not a high majority of abnormalities that are seen in the environment today. Some other things are UV index, global climate, viral and bacterial diseases, heavy metals acidification and the list goes on and on.In conclusion, we ( the human population) are responsible for the destruction that is happening to the amphibian population. It also may affect us in the long run, since we need water to survive and frogs, well, they live in it. Also most researchers on this issue believe that the deformations are some how connected to the water. These are not simple deformations, like missing a leg (although some are), it also includes missing an eye, extra webbing, extra legs, legs fused to the body, legs spilt into two halfway down, eyes found in throat and paralyzed legs that stick out in funny places. Now image that happening to us. Thats even scarier than finding the frogs yourself. So my suggestion is, that we think about the environment before we throw garbage on the ground, spill pop on it or anything that is generally destructive to the environment. Lets keep it another century or so....
