Is It Right

n the first place (Abortion Statistics). Having an abortion is legal in the United States no matter how far along the mother is. Many argue that abortion is a must because of rape, incest, fetal abnormalities, and the effects on mothers health. If that is the case, how come only one percent of abortions are done because the woman was raped or because the pregnancy was a case of incest (Abortion Statistics). One percent of abortions are done because of the risk of fetal abnormalities, and only three percent are done due to the effects on the mothers health (Abortion Statistics).There are other options to consider before choosing abortion. One option would be to own up to what you have done and keep the baby; however accidents do happen and sometimes keeping the baby may not be in the best interest for you or the child. You could give the baby up for adoption. There are lots of families that desperately want children, but are unable to have them. Abortion is a lose-lose situation for everyone. The baby loses its life in a violent death, the mother loses by feeling bad that she killed her child, and the woman has to live with that for the rest of your life. If a woman decides to abort her baby, she could be killing a Martin Luther King or a Bill Gates. This sure does make a person wonder how many great leader and achievers this world is missing because of people who aborted their children. This all leads to the simple fact that abortion is murder! Just the little information that is in this paper describes the horrors of this legalized killing and the many reasons why this should be stopped. Before birth the childs heart beats, the gastric juices flow in the stomach, and all its necessary organs have been made present. This is a child that thinks, dreams, and feels pain. Lets step up and take responsibility and do the right thing. ...
