The second time he was wounded, he was shotthrough the legs, after this he spent more time in the hospital, and was awarded a second purpleheart, because of being wounded in action. He would tell me that when he was in the hospital, hewanted to go back and get revenge, because he was wounded, and that he felt it was his duty togo back and fight. He was a very resilient person, he would shake things off like they had nevereven happened, in fact I think it made him mentally stronger, but he didnt bottle it up, he had aspecial way of releasing his hostility.
