Another positive result of decriminalizing drugs would be that it would put drug dealers out of business, and not to mention reducing the U.S. incarceration population, which is currently estimated at 2 million people. The decriminalization of narcotics would also increase the use of much stronger substances by deviants and give the false impression that it is ok to abuse drugs. The thought of making drugs legal is an extremely difficult decision to make and cannot be taken delicately.
