In addition, blacks are nearly three times as likely to murder whites, as whites are to murder blacks. If murder rates are statistically consistent within the violent crime category then whites are to murder blacks, in those circumstances where an additional aggravating factor is present. Those are the crimes most eligible for the death penalty. 75% of blacks and 35% of whites believe that blacks are treated more harshly than whites by the criminal justice system.
